Fort Lauderdale Beach Bachelorette Party Ideas: Plan Your Perfect Weekend Itinerary

Fort Lauderdale Beach Bachelorette Party Yoga

If you are thinking about an awesome beach weekend getaway for a bachelorette party, Fort Lauderdale couldn’t be a better choice. Fort Lauderdale Beach is the perfect place for a fun filled beach weekend in South Florida without the Miami chaos or prices.

Fort Lauderdale is a growing little beach city with tons to offer a bachelorette group. We have an extensive beach that is all open to the public, and just 2 miles inland there is a flourishing city.

Fort Lauderdale can serve any type of group, a chill group just looking to unwind, or a fun group looking to party.

When to Visit Fort Lauderdale

If you are flexible with your dates, it is best to visit Fort Lauderdale when the weather is ideal, between the months of December to April. Since Fort Lauderdale’s weather is amazing during these months, this is our high season and you can expect crowds and higher prices for accommodation. I would still recommend coming during this time of year, so plan ahead so that you can be sure to find a great place to stay.

Summer and Fall in Fort Lauderdale is known for hot weather and rain. The good thing though, is that the rain usually doesn’t last very long. We are known for afternoon showers that may last sometimes for just 10 minutes. Since this is not the high season, the prices for accommodation are usually lower and there is more availability. If you are planning your bachelorette weekend during this time, just come prepared with lots of sunscreen, your reusable water bottle, and an umbrella or rain jacket.

Where to Stay in Fort Lauderdale

There are basically 3 options on areas to stay in Fort Lauderdale. You could stay at either a beach hotel, at a hotel closer to the city, or at a rental home in one of the small neighborhoods between the beach and the city.

Staying on the Beach

Staying on the beach has its obvious benefits, the beach is walking distance and the beach area has a lot of options for restaurants and activities.

If your group plans on spending the majority of the time on the beach, this could be a great option since the beach is so close (literally across the street)

The downfall here is that the proximity to the beach makes the prices a little steeper than you might want to pay. Talk things over with your group and decide what you’d like to prioritize.

Here are a few hotel options on the beach.

The W Hotel

B Ocean

North Beach Hotel

Hotels in the City

The Hotels near the city will put you in walking distance to some of the major areas of interest in Fort Lauderdale, near great restaurants and nightlife, and is only a short drive to the beach.

Riverside Hotel

This hotel is in the heart of Las Olas. Walk to hundreds of restaurants, a couple miles to the beach, and a quick Uber to some great bars and nightlife.

Riverside Hotel Fort Lauderdale

The Dalmar

One of Fort Lauderdale’s newest hotels. The Dalmar is a chic hotel with two great bars and a restaurant inside. On the outside, the neighborhood doesn’t seem like much but there are some awesome places within walking distance of The Dalmar.

The Dalmar

FairField Inn

This hotel is just behind Las Olas Blvd and next door to a Starbucks.

Fairfield Inn Fort Lauderdale

Rental Homes

If your group is looking for a little more privacy and cost savings, a rental home is always a great option. The small neighborhoods in Fort Lauderdale between the beach and the city are my top choice of where to stay for a bachelorette weekend here in ft. lauderdale.

The Isles in Fort Lauderdale and Victoria Park are small neighborhoods with amazing homes, and some are on the intracoastal.

Check out Airbnb or any other rental home site to find a place to stay.

What to do in Fort Lauderdale

Beach Day

A day at the beach is always a good idea when you are visiting Fort Lauderdale. Bring some beach blankets, drinks, and have a chill day at the beach. The main area of Fort Lauderdale Beach has about 3 miles of public beaches. You can be right off of Las Olas near many restaurants and bars, or you can go a little further north near Birch State Park, a little less crowded of an area.

Beach Yoga Class

Another wonderful beach activity is to take a beach yoga class. Getting a private instructor to come out and teach your group a special class on the beach is a unique and fun experience to have with your bachelorette group on Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Taking a yoga class is a great way to unwind and recharge during the weekend of indulging. Pricing is normally around $30 per person and your instructor provides all yoga mats and beach blankets for the lesson.

Wellness Activities

Indulge in some in home massages or spa treatments. A massage therapist or esthetician can come to your rental home and give treatments to the whole group. Prices are normally better than going to an actual spa for treatments and gives you the convenience of staying at your air bnb.

If you don't want to do a beach yoga class then an in-home yoga class is also a great option.

Start your morning with a group private yoga lesson and get everyone ready for the great bachelorette weekend.
