Bachelorette Party Ideas Fort Lauderdale 2026

Fort Lauderdale Bachelorette party things to do

If you are thinking about an awesome beach weekend getaway for a bachelorette party, Fort Lauderdale couldn’t be a better choice. Fort Lauderdale Beach is the perfect place for a fun filled beach weekend in South Florida without the Miami chaos or prices.

Fort Lauderdale is a growing little beach city with tons to offer a bachelorette group. We have an extensive beach that is all open to the public, and just 2 miles inland there is a flourishing city.

Fort Lauderdale can serve any type of group, a chill group just looking to unwind, or a fun group looking to party.

When to Visit Fort Lauderdale

If you are flexible with your dates, it is best to visit Fort Lauderdale when the weather is ideal, between the months of December to April. Since Fort Lauderdale’s weather is amazing during these months, this is our high season and you can expect crowds and higher prices for accommodation. I would still recommend coming during this time of year, so plan ahead so that you can be sure to find a great place to stay.

Summer and Fall in Fort Lauderdale is known for hot weather and rain. The good thing though, is that the rain usually doesn’t last very long. We are known for afternoon showers that may last sometimes for just 10 minutes. Since this is not the high season, the prices for accommodation are usually lower and there is more availability. If you are planning your bachelorette weekend during this time, just come prepared with lots of sunscreen, your reusable water bottle, and an umbrella or rain jacket.

Where to Stay in Fort Lauderdale

There are basically 3 options on areas to stay in Fort Lauderdale. You could stay at either a beach hotel, at a hotel closer to the city, or at a rental home in one of the small neighborhoods between the beach and the city.

Staying on the Beach

Staying on the beach has its obvious benefits, the beach is walking distance and the beach area has a lot of options for restaurants and activities.

If your group plans on spending the majority of the time on the beach, this could be a great option since the beach is so close (literally across the street)

The downfall here is that the proximity to the beach makes the prices a little steeper than you might want to pay. Talk things over with your group and decide what you’d like to prioritize.

Here are a few hotel options on the beach.
