If you live in Miami or the nearby areas and are ready to try yoga, private lessons are an excellent way to start. A personalized one-on-one yoga class is suitable for anyone interested in yoga, from beginners to more experienced practitioners. Private yoga lessons are an investment in yourself and your well-being.
They're perfect for those just starting out, helping you learn the basics with someone who can guide you through each step. For people with busy schedules who need classes that fit their timing and location, private classes are the best choice.
Why Private Yoga Over Group Classes
Group yoga classes can be filled with anywhere from 10 to 40 people, depending on where in Miami you are taking the class. In a class this size, it's impossible to get a customized class and individual attention.
Some benefits of a private yoga session vs. a group session:
- Personalized lesson plans
- Help heal an injury
- Help cope with chronic conditions
- Learn proper form and alignment
- Incorporate multiple modalities that will suit you
- Gain confidence to join a group session
- Hands on adjustments and cues
- Set specific goals and work with your instructor to reach them
- Collaborate with your instructor
What Do You Learn in a Private Yoga Class
Everything you learn in a private yoga lesson with your Miami instructor is up to you. If you have a specific interest in something let us know and we will emphasize that. If there are certain topics you are not interested in, we won't include them in your class.
- Foundational techniques
- Breakdown of poses
- Breathing techniques
- Meditation and mindfulness
- Mobility techniques
- Proper form and alignment
- How to use props and tools
- Modalities outside of yoga, including strength training, pilates, and more
- How to progress your practice in a safe and effective way
