Welcome! I’m Tamara, a Yoga Alliance registered experienced yoga instructor (E-RYT200) serving Fort Lauderdale & all of South Florida as a private yoga instructor, group yoga instructor, and corporate yoga instructor.
My goal as a yoga instructor is to help my students find the unity between their mind, body, and breath in a way that is personal to them and practical within the bodies we live in.
Since 2014, I've taught yoga all around the Fort Lauderdale and Miami area to students of all ages, abilities, and in all kinds of settings. I love teaching private one-on-one yoga as well as large group yoga classes in our beautiful South Florida area.
My teachings span from beaches, offices, gyms, studios, hotels, pool decks, living rooms, senior centers, and rooms full of dogs. Cities I offer my services include Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Pompano Beach, Aventura, Miami Beach, and more.
I’ve taught kids yoga to toddlers, bachelorette yoga to young vibrant women, and chair yoga to the elderly at senior centers.
My Style of Teaching
My goal as a yoga teacher is to help my students connect with themselves through the practice of yoga using breath, mindfulness, and intuitive movement. My expertise is in hatha, vinyasa, and yin yoga usually combining these in a single practice depending on the student’s wants and needs. I use a practical approach to teaching private yoga and group yoga which helps new students understand the practice and helps more experienced students understand the practice in a deeper way. I teach through intuition and based on the bodies I see in the room, so no practice is quite the same. I like to use the breath to help guide us in the practice both physically and mentally to keep us aware and present. My teaching focuses on the whole body using traditional yoga movements as well as movements based on mobility and strengthening.

How I Got Started In Yoga
I took my first yoga class in 2007 at my local community center in Margate, Florida then moved on to college and took classes at my university fitness center in Tampa, Florida. I didn’t get into a yoga studio until I moved back to South Florida in 2013. There at Yoga 4 Life Studios in Coral Springs with the help of all my amazing teachers, I fell deeper in love with yoga and all it's benefits. In 2014 I decided to take my 200 hour training with Juliana Trejo of Yoga 4 Life and have been teaching ever since throughout Fort Lauderdale and the greater South Florida area.
